  • Developed custom shell pipelines to align and reconstruct circular RNA sequences, enabling accurate identification of circRNA breakpoints.
  • Designed and evaluated optimized RNA sequence constructs by analyzing CDS and UTR features using AnnotationHub, GenomicRanges, and ensembldb in R.
  • Trained and fine-tuned convolutional neural networks to learn circRNA breakpoint patterns and predict stability profiles.
  • Calculated and compared molecular structural distances using ChimeraX and in-house computational scripts to support structural interpretation.

  • Developed Medjudge, a platform integrating programming with medical education. It features programming challenges in medical contexts, coding competitions, and forums to enhance learning and application.
  • Conducted literature reviews to ensure challenges aligned with current clinical practices.
  • Deployed the application on Tencent Cloud with the backend running on Django and MySQL, and the frontend built with Vue.js. Since launching the application, Medjudge has been used for 2 consecutive years in the class: C Language in Programming, and by more than 100 students.

  • Investigated the mechanisms of mice recoverable and human unrecoverable pulmonary fibrosis to identify therapeutic targets by analyzing differences between human and mice transcriptomes.
  • Utilized Seurat3 for transcriptome normalization, integration, and visualization (PCA, t-SNE/UMAP) on a mouse model of pulmonary fibrosis (i.e., bleomycin injection).
  • Conducted cell clustering (using Louvain and CCA) and gene enrichment analysis (clusterProfiler) to identify key pathways in fibrosis.
  • Analyzed intercellular communication in the fibrosis environment using CellChat and visualized networks with Cytoscape.

  • Investigated prognostic-related alternative splicing events in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) patients to uncover biological pathways and regulatory networks.

  • Developed an AI-driven model to estimate the time of death (post-mortem interval, PMI) by analyzing abdominal gas diffusion using CT imaging.
  • Processed segmented images in PyCharm to calculate relative abdominal gas diffusion volumes.
  • Built a PMI inference model using Naive Bayes and Logistic Regression.
  • Secured third Prize at the National College Students’ Basic Medical Science Innovation Research Forum.
